Shopping complex Spice is located in a strategically important place in Riga – within a 5 minute drive from the airport and close to a state-level road which connects Riga with the nearby districts and other cities of Latvia. That’s why, during planning process it was important to ensure successful cooperation with the Riga City Council City Development Department, the construction board, Riga city architect and the architects of Mark architecture bureau. The best design solution for the building and the architectural accent of the whole complex was sought.
Kadrija Pudova, director of shopping complex Spice: “During planning process of the development, we paid extra attention to the dynamic routine and needs of our clients. We thought about those segments of services that are important to all of us, but which are sometimes so hard to access every day, for example, the availability of different medical treatments on workday evenings and weekends. After the opening of Spice Wellness, the shopping complex Spice will be the first in the Baltics to offer its clients shopping and entertainment together with services aimed at improving health and the quality of life.”
The Riga City Construction Board has issued the permit for the first building stage of Spice Wellness, based on which the design of the project will be finalized and documents prepared to submit the whole technical project. Spice Wellness building is designed in the BIM environment, which means that every potential tenant can view their premises in virtual reality already now, before the actual construction has started. Spice continues working on Spice Wellness new brand, concept development and improving the tenant mix. Spice
