Members of LIAA’s Creative Industries Incubator opens pop-up shop at Spice Shopping Center in December

On December 1, a pop-up shop of the members of the Creative Industries Incubator of the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) opened its doors at the Spice Shopping Center in Riga, where it is possible purchase products created by young entrepreneurs, as well as get to know the representatives of this community and their various companies.

In the spirit of the holidays, there will be an opportunity to buy versatile, innovative and practical products for gifts, as well as to get to know the new community of entrepreneurs, which has formed under the auspices of the LIAA Creative Industries Incubator. This community brings together bright and interesting personalities and spans a wide variety of industries.

Within the community, members not only create and develop their companies in the direction of the set goals, but also learn, get inspired and support each other. Therefore, the concept of the shop is also to show this diversity, as well as to inspire other young entrepreneurs to follow their ideas and goals. In the community pop-up store of the LIAA Creative Industries Incubator, it will be possible not only to buy gifts for the holidays, but also to meet the founders and employees of the various companies, get acquainted and talk with them.

"The self-initiative of the members of creative industries incubators is a clear example of the value of community, which is an integral part of incubators. As an incubator, we are flexible in our non-material support and primarily look at the needs of our participants, which we always fulfill within the limits of our possibilities. The self-organization of the participants in the creation of a joint pop-up shop also gave us a clear signal for support, as we see several benefits in it - the opportunity to meet our customers during the active sales period, promote our products, generate revenue, but most importantly, practically, through experience, learn to create cooperation in the B2B segment and look at sales more broadly than usual. Cooperation with a supermarket or retail chain is the dream of many incubator participants. Being in a shopping center with a common stand is a step closer to this realization. We see that the benefits of promoting and marketing Latvia's exportable and innovative products are not only for incubator companies, but also the image of stores and Latvia in general, and this would be a goal to be implemented regularly or even permanently," says Karine Kalniņa, head of the LIAA Creative Industries Incubator.

"The Spice Shopping Center stands for young talents and young entrepreneurs, therefore we are pleased to support the pop-up shop of LIAA members. There is real joy in young entrepreneurs who are able to be bold and inspire others by creating high-quality and unique products right here in Latvia. As the wonderful Christmas season approaches, we invite residents to support local businesses by choosing beautiful gifts with added value," says Iveta Priedīte, director of the Spice and Spice Home shopping centers.
